Fleur FPP template (English)
This is the ENGLISH version of the template
Fleur is a modern Foundation Paper Piecing (FPP) template. The finished block measures 15’’ x 15’’ (plus seam allowance). Use the block in whichever way you like. If you want to mix it up, you can use the template ‘Petal’ which results in a 15’’ square block as well. To make placemats use the 15’’ circle template from the pattern ‘Celeste’ and follow its instructions for assembly.
The template includes detailed information on fabric requirements and also instructions on precutting your fabric so you can sew your FPP block quickly and efficiently.
Fabric requirements per block for 110cm/42'' wide fabric:
background fabric: 35cm/13''
Flower:
light pink and blue: each 10cm/3,5''
berry: 6,5cm/2,5''
pink: 4,5cm/1,5''
If you sew more than one block you will need less fabric as you can use up the leftovers from the previous block.
This is not a complete pattern, instructions for Foundation Paper Piecing are not included. The pictures in the product description serve as a design example. Never sewn FPP before? Then take a look at my YouTube tutorial. The video is in German, English subtitles are available.
