Heating Pad 'Holly' - a Foundation Paper Piecing Project
Heating Pad 'Holly' - a Foundation Paper Piecing Project
This is the English version of the pattern
'Holly' is a very versatile Foundation Paper Piecing project. It contains 4 different FPP blocks, all themed to create a wintery village landscape. The heating pad can be adjusted to your personal needs - you can sew little 1 block pads and use them in your coat pocket to keep your hands warm. For the neck and lower back I like to use a row of 5 blocks. The instructions on the pattern work for any size!
The pattern contains detailed instructions with lots of photos and my favourite tips for FPP, it is therefore suitable for beginners. If you are a beginner, I would suggest to start with the tree or the house, church and star are a little trickier due to their many details.
Also check out the template sets Cedar and Mistletoe - they were created with the pattern 'Holly' in mind. All the template set blocks can be used as an element in this pattern aswell!
Do you want even more inspiration? You can find free tutorials on how to use the blocks from Holly, Cedar and Mistletoe on my blog.
