Den heutigen Beitrag schreibe ich selbst! Meine FPP-Vorlagensets Mistletoe und Cedar habe ich bereits im letzten Jahr häufig in Kombination mit Schnürbeuteln gesehen. Weil mir das so gut gefallen hat, habe ich einen ganzen Schwung Schnürbeutel dieses Jahr mit den Vorlagen von Spruce genäht. Vielleicht habt ihr ja auch Lust, diese wiederverwendbare Geschenkverpackung zu nähen? Ich für euch aufgeschrieben, wie es geht.
I'm writing today's post myself! Last year I have seen my FPP template sets Mistletoe and Cedar being used in combination with drawstring bag patterns. Because I liked them so much, I made a whole bunch of drawstring bags this year using the Spruce templates! Perhaps you would also like to sew this reusable gift wrap? I've written down how to do it.
Ich habe mir zwei verschiedene Schnittmuster rausgesucht. Beutel Nr. 1 ist ein Klassiker, die Drawstring Bag von Jeni Baker www.incolororder.com. Jeni's Blog folge ich schon seit über 10 Jahren, ihr Tutorial für die 'lined drawstring bag' habe ich bestimmt schon über 100 mal genäht. Ungelogen! I have used two different patterns, one in English and one in German. Pattern no. 1 is a classic, the drawstring bag by Jeni Baker www.incolororder.com. I've been following Jeni's blog for over 10 years and I've probably sewn her tutorial for the 'lined drawstring bag' over 100 times. That's not a lie! Two years ago I sewed 80 bags following her pattern for my little girl's kindergarten, over the years many more followed.
Hier findet ihr das kostenlose Tutorial (auf englisch) in der Originalgröße. Jeni hat außerdem ein Schnittmuster rausgebracht, in dem viele verschiedene Größen und Formen enthalten sind. Möchtet ihr einen meiner Blöcke aus Mistletoe, Cedar oder Spruce mit Hilfe des kostenlosen Tutorials vernähen, dann geht ihr wie folgt vor:
1. Näht einen 5'' FPP Block eurer Wahl.
2. Schneidet aus dem Hintergrundstoff (2) Streifen 3''x5,5'' zu und näht sie links und rechts an euren FPP Block.
3. Schneidet (1) Streifen 1,5''x10,5'' zu und näht ihn oben an euren Block.
4. Schneidet (1) Streifen 3''x10,5'' zu und näht ihn unten an euren Block.
Das Panel, das ihr so genäht habt benutzt ihr als einen Teil des 'Exterior Main Fabric'. Solltet ihr ein Label ergänzen wollen, steckt es an die entsprechende Stelle entlang der oberen Kante eures vergrößerten Blocks bevor ihr dem Tutorial weiter folgt. Schneidet ein zusätzliches Element für die Rückseite und alle anderen Teile des Zuschnitts aus und näht euren Beutel wie im Tutorial beschrieben zuende.
You can find the free tutorial of the original size drawstring bag here. Jeni has also published a pattern with many different sizes and shapes of the bags. If you would like to sew one of my Mistletoe, Cedar or Spruce blocks using the free tutorial, please proceed as follows:
1. sew a 5'' FPP block of your choice
2. cut (2) 3''x5.5'' strips from the background fabric and sew them to the left and right of your FPP block.
3. cut (1) 1.5''x10.5'' and sew it to the top of your block
4. cut (1) 3''x10.5'' and sew it to the bottom of your block.
Use the panel you have sewn as the front element of the 'Exterior Main Fabric'. If you want to add a label, now is the right time to pin it in the appropriate place along the top edge of your sized up FPP block. Cut out an additional Exterior Main Fabric rectangle for the back and all other parts given in the tutorial and finish sewing your bag as described!
Ihr möchtet lieber das deutschsprachige Schnittmuster 'Rudi' von www.das-mach-ich-nachts.de nähen? Kein Problem! Die 5'' FPP-Blöcke passen wunderbar zum großen Rudi.
Achtung: Da ich lieber in Inch-Angaben und mit meinen Inch-Linealen arbeite, habe ich mir alle Angaben in Inch umgerechnet und das komplette Schnittmuster mit einer 1/4'' Nahtzugabe genäht!
The following instructions are for the German tutorial Rudi, therefore I will skip the translation for this!
Näht euch ein Außenteil mit einem 5'' FPP Block:
1. Schneidet (2) Streifen 2,75''x5,5'' zu und näht sie links und rechts an euren Block. Möchtet ihr ein Label anbringen, ist nun der richtige Moment um es entlang der oberen Kante zu platzieren und festzustecken. Es wird dann im nächsten Schritt festgenäht.
2. Schneidet (1) Streifen 2,25''x10'' zu und näht ihn oben an euren Block.
3. Schneidet (1) Streifen 3,75''x10'' zu und näht ihn unten an euren Block.
Ihr habt nun ein fertiges Außenteil!
Der weitere Zuschnitt in Inch ist (die Angaben sind zum Schutz des Designers und des Designs nicht explizit dem Schnittteil zugeordnet, aber in der gleichen Reihenfolge wie im Schnittmuster angegeben!):
(1) weiteres Teil 10''x10,5''
(2) 10''x2,25''
(2) 10''x3,25''
(2) 10''x13''
plus Bindeband
Alles weitere wird wie im Schnittmuster angegeben genäht!
