Dieses Mal ist eine kleine Weihnachtskarten-Parade entstanden. Ich nutze die Vorlagen aus der Reihe Spruce und gestalte damit einige meiner Weihnachtskarten. Wenn mal die FPP-Blöcke genäht sind, dann geht es sehr schnell und man hat sehr schöne, kreative und persönliche Karten für Weihnachten kreiert!

This year once again, I have the pleasure of writing a little tutorial on Steffi's FPP Christmas motifs. Thank you, dear Steffi!
This time I've created a little Christmas card parade. I'm using the templates from the Spruce template set to design some of my Christmas cards. Once the FPP blocks are sewn, it's very quick to put the cards together and you've created very beautiful, creative and personal cards for Christmas!

Materialliste
- FPP-Vorlagen Spruce auf Papier ausgedruckt.
Es gehen natürlich aber auch die Motive aus den Sets Mistletoe, und/oder Cedar. - Scraps und/oder Stoffe für die FPP-Blöcke
- S 320 Schabrackeneinlage oder ähnliches
- Fotokleber (doppelseitig, selbstklebende Klebepads oder Klebestift)
- Klappkarte quadratisch 15,5 cm x 15,5 cm mit passendem Umschlag
oder Papier (ich empfehle etwas festeres Papier, z. B. Stärke: 240 g/m²), das dann entsprechend zugeschnitten und gefaltet wird
Zusätzlich benötigst du:
- passendes Nähgarn
- Patchwork-Lineal (optional Quarter Inch Ruler)
- Schere, Rollschneider, Schneidematte
- Bügeleisen
- optional Kleberoller, Stecknadeln, Zackenschere

Of course, you can also use the motifs from the
Mistletoe, and/or
Cedar.
Scraps and/or fabrics for the FPP blocks
Light or medium weight iron on interfacing(Vlieseline S320 or similar)
Photo adhesive (double-sided tape, self-adhesive pads or glue stick)
Pre-made cards 15.5 cm x 15.5 cm with matching envelope
or thick paper (240 g/m²), which is then cut and folded accordingly
You will also need
matching sewing thread
Patchwork ruler (optional: quarter inch ruler)
Scissors, rotary cutter, cutting mat
iron
optional: glue roller, pins, pinking shears
ANLEITUNG
Schritt 1 – FPP-Blöcke nähen
Näht so viele 5,5 inch Blöcke aus dem FPP-Sets Spruce (oder aus den Sets Cedar oder Mistletoe) wie ihr benötigt und begradigt die Seiten.
Schritt 2 – FPP-Blöcke verstärken
Schneidet zusätzlich pro FPP-Block ein 5,5 inch Quadrat aus dem S320.
Bügelt anschließend die Schabrackeneinlage auf die Rückseite des FPP-Blocks.
INSTRUCTIONS
Step 1 - Sew the FPP blocks
Sew as many 5.5 inch blocks from the FPP Spruce set (or from the Cedar or Mistletoe sets) as you need, cut back the block sided a smidge to get straight edges.
Step 2 - Reinforce the FPP blocks
Cut an additional 5.5 inch square from the interfacing for each FPP block.
Press onto the back of the FPP block.
Schritt 3 – FPP-Blöcke verzieren (optional)
Wer möchte kann anschließend die Blöcke noch etwas verzieren. Dafür kann man z. B. mit einer Zacken- oder Wellenschere die Seiten der Blöcke abschneiden, oder aber man nutzt die Dekostiche der Nähmaschine und kreiert verschiedene Borten bzw. Bordüren.
Step 3 - Decorate the FPP blocks (optional)
If you would like to decorate the blocks, then do so now! For example, you can cut off the sides of the blocks with pinking shears, or you can use the decorative stitches on your sewing machine to create borders or other designs.
Schritt 4 – FPP-Block auf der Karte befestigen
Nun auf die Rückseite des FPP-Blocks Kleber aufbringen und anschließend den FPP-Block mittig auf der Karte festdrücken.
Ich habe sowohl Fotokleber (doppelseitig, selbstklebende Klebepads) benutzt, als auch einen Klebestift. Beide Varianten halten m. E. recht gut. Mit dem Stift konnte ich jedoch den Kleber komplett an den Rändern flächendeckend auftragen. Somit liegt der Block geschlossen mit den Rändern auf der Karte auf.
Step 4 - Attach the FPP block to the card
Now apply glue to the back of the FPP block and then press the FPP block onto the center of the card.
I used both photo glue (double-sided, self-adhesive pads) and a glue stick. In my opinion, both versions hold quite well. With the glue stick, however, I was able to apply the adhesive completely around the edges. As a result, the block edges are stucke down really well too.
Schritt 5 – Karte schreiben und verschenken!
